The Big Knit

We almost missed out on this years Big Knit! We have spent the last few days whipping up some little hats, Cosmos and Crayons style of course!

We made a Ginge, a Sloth, some kitties and some Pugs.

Every year the lovely people at Innocent  (I call them the smoothie people) raise money to help oldies keep warm during the winter Months. For Each smoothie topped with a hat they sell during November, they donate 25p to Age Concern.

How can you get involved? By knitting / crocheting up some lovely hats and sending them to Innocent's headquarters. Not only does this help raise money, but brings people together from all ages to help a good cause.

The deadline to submit your hats is the 31st October, so we apologise for doing this post a little late.

For more information on The Big Knit you can check out the website:

Keep your eyes peeled in November for our little hats!

Help spread the word!
Cosmos and Crayons are on the lookout for fellow bloggers to swap ads with.
We are still fairly new to blogging, and still getting our heads around all the jargon, so we are offering two sizes to choose from free for a month, ideally if you can offer an add in similar size on your blog.

Currently we are taking ads in the following sizes.

250x150 Pixels

Ginge gets crafty: Adventure Time, Jake

I recently discovered Adventure Time, and straight away fell in love with it. It has an excellent balance of cuteness and sillyness.

I was asked by a friend to make a Jake and a Finn, and have been slowly crafting them together, I found the perfect material to make Jake, super soft and cuddly!
Jake tries to help out....

I felt like Dr Frankenstein, I high fived myself once I finished him.

Jake likes to spend lazy Sunday afternoons playing Tetris.

Here is abit of Adventure Time fan art for your tastebuds :)

Ginge the dog and Sloth the human.

I have set myself the challenge to make all the characters, I'm currently crafting up a Lady Rainicorn and a Finn, so keep your eyes potatoed for updates :D
